I majored in Visual Arts back in University and from there I quickly discovered a habit of repetition through my work. Call it a labor of love if you will, because each individual pieces I was making would consist of the same object (per project) that was either folded, layered, glued, heated and or melted together to create a larger scale project. Sometimes the materials I used were teeny tiny everyday objects. Case and point as you can see in the background – cocktail straws. I take what is already present and distort it to give a new character: a character that might otherwise be unrecognizable in the everyday. After graduation, taking time off, a 9–5 job, creating and designing things for my online shop...I'm still working that repetitive charm. So make yourself a cup and tea and browse around to see if you can spot my habit in my handmade jewelries, twenty5octobers and paper goods, pulps of wood.
